Sullied Accolades is Brooklyn-based string trio that creates an eclectic mix of music ranging from delicately bowed strings to robust percussive rhythms. Using the upright bass, guitar, and violin, combined with soulful, gritty vocals, they fuse elements of gypsy, jazz, and folk to create a repertoire of original compositions. The group coalesced in San Diego through serendipitous camaraderie and late-night musical debauchery. Out of the chaos, a more refined vision emerged. In 2010, they ventured to New York City to pursue this endeavor. They currently reside in Brooklyn and have weekly performances in the greater New York area and beyond.
